General Information
Fire Damage is one of the five Main Damage Types produced by all non-Legacy units. The four other main damage types being : Area Damage, Burst Damage, Plasma Damage and Sustain Damage.
Damage Characteristics
- Fire Damage does continuous damage in a small area. It may be very effective against certain enemy types.
- Fire Damage weapons fire projectiles at a very high rate.
- Fire Damage is produced by Single Target, Splash weapons.
- Fire Damage is produced typically by Direct Fire weapons.
- Direct Fire travels in an Straight Line and requires a Line of Sight to target.
Units with Fire Damage Weapons
- Chaplain
- Burnside
- Technical (Fire Man)
- Any Unit having tech which changes damage type to Fire.
