War Commander Update Notes - Wednesday 04/08/15

Fix - Verkraft 35's not awarding bonus loot, even if inventory has room.
Fix - Game hangs when you view your own deposit (before viewing anyone else's deposit)
Fix - Air units sometimes instacrash instead of playing crashing animation
Fix - Warhawk shoots projectiles from above itself
Fix - If you have more than 8 aircraft types in an aircraft platoon when you attack a base with 6 ground platoons you will only see the first 8 aircraft in the tab.

New Gear Store Additions - 2/26/15

War Commander Update Notes - Wednesday 02/18/15
Commander,
The following Changes & Fixes have been applied on the Wednesday 02/18 update.
GENERAL CHANGES & FIXES
Update - Oni MK I now deals 2x more damage to buildings. Capacity space reduced to allow up to 10 units in a Platoon.
Update - Torch receives an HP increase (~49K at level 10) and applies tiny amount of splash damage to all shots fired. Capacity space reduced to allow up to 12 units in a Platoon.
Update - Warden now has reduced reload time and does slightly more damage (~5.9 DPS). Capacity space reduced to allow up to 12 units in a Platoon.
Fix - Relocation issue where Platoons left on the World Map would not correctly be placed into storage, becoming lost.

Stealth Missiles

Recent technological developments have allowed you to construct NEW devastating Missiles by upgrading to Defense Lab 11, which can only be done with Command Center 8.
Upgrading your Defense Lab to level 11 grants access to unlock brand new, Stealth Missiles that are guaranteed to hit their target!

MAVERICK -
The untargetable Maverick missile system specializes in dealing moderate damage over a large surface area.
Stealth Missile
The Maverick is a Stealth Missile that cannot be targeted, and thusly, cannot be shot down
BULLSEYE -
An evolution of the Deadeye, the Bullseye is a high-impact, small AoE missile equipped with advanced thruster technology to ensure it always decimates its mark.
Stealth Missile
The Bullseye is also a Stealth Missile, and cannot be targeted or shot down.
NEW STANDARD MISSILE
ATLAS -
This extremely resilient missile deals very little damage, but is excellent at drawing fire away from airborne units to create a safe approach.
The Atlas is a nearly indestructible, low-damage missile that excels at tanking anti-air fire for helicopters!

COMMAND CENTER Level 8
Commander,
Recent technological developments have allowed us to upgrade our Command Center’s capabilities.
Upgrading your Command Center to level 8 grants access to new upgrade paths for existing structures such as the Defense Lab, Power Plants and New Bunkers. New Blitz Turret variants have been developed, increasing your destructive capabilities.
Extraordinary defensive power is in your hands, Commander. Defend your Command post and decimate your enemies!
An additional Defense Lab level that grants access to brand new Command Center turret variants (Storm Turret and Flood Turret), and provides damage reduction to defender platoons.
An additional Power Plant level that provides increased health and power generation.
Additional Missile Silo levels that increase Missile capacity.
An additional level for Defensive Platforms.
Increases to Metal, Oil, and Thorium storage (on the Command Center).
DEFENSE LAB UPGRADE
Upgrading the Defense Lab to level 11 grants an extraordinary 10% passive defensive buff to base defender platoons! It also grants access to two new destructive Command Center Turrets: Flood Turret and Storm Turret.
The Flood Turret is an Anti-Ground only Blitz variant that has better range at max level than the Blitz and annihilates ground forces attempting to conquer your base.
The Storm Turret is an Anti-Air only Blitz variant that has better range at max level than the Blitz and decimates air forces preventing your enemies from gaining air superiority.
Missile Silo Capacity increased to 1100, allowing you to store one more Deadeye or Shock Missile.

The Peacekeeper, Deadeye, and Shock Missile can be leveled up one more powerful level!. Don’t underestimate the power of these doomsday devices. Each has a specific use.
Use the Peacekeeper to deal big damage to a wide area, the Deadeye for picking off particular problem targets, and the Shock for disabling Turrets and Vehicles in a large area.

Gear Store and Medals Update!
Commanders,
The Gear Store just received an update! You now have a higher storage capacity for Medals. Boss Bases and Challenge Bases have also been updated. Medal payouts have increased, details are listed below.
Earn tons of prizes in the Gear Store, including the Oni Mk II, Scorpion, Vanquisher, Elite Vanquisher, Hover Tank, and Elite Hover Tank, and Hellstorm!
Players’ existing Medal balance has been multiplied by 10x
Prices of current Gear Store items have been changed.

Ryu-Kai bases are now less susceptible to damage from bullets and shells. Deploy your fire, Ion, corrosion, and energy weapons and take back the World Map. God speed, Commander!

Dynamic Defense
Commander,
Introducing Specialized Platforms - a chance to customize your defensive Turrets to meet your killing specifications!
Build the Airborne Platform, which cannot be targeted by ground-only weapons, and the Reinforced Platform, which stops all splash damage dead in its tracks.
AIRBORNE PLATFORM
Description of Building: Jets propel the Platform into the air, protecting it from anti-ground, but making it targetable by anti-air.
Platform is available in the Gear Store under the Tech tab.
REINFORCED PLATFORM
Description of Building: Advanced conduction technology suppresses explosive blasts, blocking splash damage - like level 10 barricades this prevents all splash AoE damage.

Note 2 - If your Special Ops are full, you will receive a message stating that "you found" a Special Op. The message stating that your inventory is full is not displaying correctly.

Ion Invasion

The Ion Turret and AA Ion Turret are now available! These turrets harness powerful Ion technology that shreds through most armor types and depletes shields. Head to your Defense Lab and bolster your defenses now.

Ion Damage
Attention, Ion weapons deplete shields at a more rapid rate. Each time an Ion weapon impacts a shielded unit, the shield loses some of its remaining duration. Ion weapons also penetrate the armor of most units. Look for special armor components to increase your units' resistance to this new technology.
ION TECHNOLOGY
Ion Technology will not be available during the event. All Ion Technology will be found in upcoming events and features.
Fix - Firing animation does not appear for Laser Turrets.
Fix - Attempting to move damaged aircraft from your air platoons shows an error which jumps to the top of the dialog

Commander,
Build a Helipad now to add a new Helicopter Platoon to your arsenal! Deploy your Helicopter Platoon along with your Aircraft Platoon and wreak havoc from the sky.
Players can manage their Aircraft and Copter Platoons one of two ways:
From Storage Building you can see grid of all Platoons. Clicking Manage on one Platoon takes you to Platoon view
From Aircraft Hangar you can see grid of Aircraft Platoons. This is change from existing functionality - right now you go straight to Platoon management popup for Aircraft Platoon
Clicking on Helipad should do same thing as Aircraft Hanger - you see grid of two Aircraft Platoons
COPTER PLATOON DEPLOYMENT
Players deploy units from their Copter Platoon just like they do from their normal Aircraft Platoon
Copter Platoon can be deployed at the same time that the traditional Aircraft Platoon can be deployed

AI Changes & General Unit Behavior
GENERAL UNIT BEHAVIOR
“Suicidal Run” behavior carried out by units has been addressed.
Units will no longer advance towards a target in range when their line of sight is blocked.
When entering firing range, units will always stop and destroy obstacles in their way until they gain line of sight to their target.
Idle, controllable units will no longer chase after other idle units.
This means if your Hellstorms blow up a building like a Metal Storage, that releases a Mortar Team that begins to flee due to the splash damage, your Hellstorms will not chase the Mortar Team.
Units no longer shoot at the corners of buildings.
All turrets and units (except melee units) now calculate their range from their center to the center of their target.
GENERAL CHANGES & FIXES
Added ability for game designers to classify units as melee or ranged.
Large Thorium Deposits’ difficulty have been slightly increased.
Fix - Units losing Workshop Customizations guarding resources

Top Secret - Shadow Ops
Introducing Shadow Ops - the newest way to prove you're the king of the battlefield! Your informant will alert you each week when a new mission is available. Think you're up for the challenge?
MISSION DETAILS
Shadow Ops will have 4 Phases, lasting up to 72 hours. During this time Rogue Faction targets must be hit to score points and earn prizes.
TIERED PRIZE SYSTEM
Prizes will be organized into 3 progressively more rewarding tiers
Once players have enough points to earn a prize from a tier, they’ll be rewarded a random prize from that tier’s pool of possible prizes
Note: Players will not receive the same prize twice
Since prizes are awarded randomly, there will be enough new content added each month to make sure a player has something new to earn in each weekly playthrough
Fortress Compounds will consist of 1 main Base and two smaller Satellite Bases.
You must destroy the satellite Base to unbubble the main Base.
Each hex is a separate Base. All 3 must be completed to earn XP, and are each considered a single “Wave”.
If you do not complete all 3 Bases within 2 hours after the first attack on a satellite, these Bases will reset back to full health,
You will lose any potential bonus you have earned, but you will be able to attempt the bonus objectives again.
Fortress Compounds can and will spawn far away from your Base. Use the yellow “Attack” button in the lower right hand corner to assist you with locating Fortress Compounds.
If you are up for the challenge you can earn a new decorative Building to put in your Base that show’s Mutoto and the Eastern Horde were no match for your forces. This Building is invincible and untargetable. You can also place it outside your normal Base Building area.
Gives additional stat bonuses on existing Components
Please note: This does not mean the Mega Tank can be leveled up to Veteran level 6.
Misc Changes
Event Fortress Reset Timer now shows seconds
Time left on Event Bonus % XP increase will not go beyond the end of the event.
GENERAL FIXES
Wingman Epic Tech on Warhawks V5 should now spawn their wingman drone.
Elite Vanquisher Shields should now deploy correctly after repairing to full health.
All event related bases should have appropriate text color on World Map.

Missile Control V3: Red Sky
RED SKY
You can now upgrade your Missiles to Level 10. Level 6-10 Missiles will receive significant improvements over level 1-5 Missiles:
Each level increases Health and Damage
Each level will reduce Travel Time and Cooldown Time.
Note: At level 3 Missiles can be upgraded using Thorium. Using Thorium drastically reduces production time and gives players the ability to launch up to 3 Missiles at once.
Call to Arms Mission 1 now requires Level 5 RF bases instead of Level 10 RF bases.
When upgrading tech components in the Workshop you will see what exactly you get for the next level increase.
Thorium harvest rate has been lowered to 120k/hr.
World Map Boss Bases will now have an orange border to make them easier to identify.
GENERAL FIXES:
Hover Tanks, when destroyed, now have the correct wreckage image.
Fixed an issue causing Attack logs not to display correctly past page 1.
Fixed an error some players received when attempting to instant repair their bases in between two separate attacks.
Fixed some text alignment on Missile descriptions.
Fixed the level lock message on Thorium Deposits to reflect the correct Thorium Deposit.

Laser Tanks Explained
PRE CHANGE
Before the change Laser Tanks beams would hit the center of the object. In the image below these are represented by the blue beams. No matter which direction the Laser Tank attacked the object the splash damage always radiated from the top of the object. This is represented by the orange circle. Please understand this is not the actual splash range. This is a mock up I drew for this post.
CURRENT PERFORMANCE
After the change, Laser Tanks beams still fire at the center of the target. This is represented in the image below by the blue beams. The splash damage now originates from the center of the object that’s being fired at. This is represented by the orange circle in the image below. Today we have level locked Thorium Deposits. With this change we believe all players now have the opportunity to obtain Thorium. Based on your feedback we are significantly increasing the harvest rate of Thorium Deposits.

Veteran Unit Levels Part2!
Get ready to bring the pain. Now the rest of your units can be upgraded to Veteran Level 5!
The Second Coming
Veteran Level 5 Unit Benefits
All Veteran Level units will receive a boost to their Damage and Health stats. Additionally, your Veteran Level units will not increase their repair times! Veteran Level 5 units also give you additional spaces for customization, allowing you to make your customized units even better than before!
Level 10-15 Vanquishers will now display the correct damage numbers.
Units leveling up after being attacked has been fixed.
Fixed a problem with Multi-Shot not shooting in two directions.

A Call to Arms has been issued, Commander! Complete new missions to win valuable prizes and accelerate through the ranks with ease. Think you’re up for the challenge?
Level Up
New Mission chain, like Advanced Missions, is stickied to the top of the Missions HUD
This Mission chain can be started at Level 8
Beating a Mission in the chain rewards a prize and progresses you on to the next Mission
Note: Level 30+ players can complete this mission by destroying Level 45 World Map Boss Bases.
You’ll still receive the prize even if you don’t meet the requirements to unlock it, but you won’t be able to upgrade the unit past Level 1 until you meet the requirements to do so.

Level 25 versions of the existing Level 45 World Map Boss Bases will spawn
Fixed an icon animation issue when Rocket Silo’s were empty.
Increased performance while moving buildings

Veteran Units Upgrade
*Your war-torn troops are ready for a power-up. You will now be able to upgrade some of your units to Veteran Level 5!

MISSION DETAILS:
You can now upgrade certain units to Veteran Level 5. Your objective is to max out your arsenal with the latest in Veteran Level technology.
VETERAN LEVEL 5 UNIT BENEFITS
All Veteran Level units will receive a boost to their Damage and Health stats. Additionally, your Veteran Level units will not increase their repair times! Veteran Level 5 units also give you additional spaces for customization, allowing you to make your customized units even better than before!
BONUS STAT BUFFS
Make sure you check out the upgrades for the Behemoth, Hover Tank, and Warhawk. These units will receive significantly better stat boosts at Veteran Level 5, so you’re going to want them in your platoons.

3/27 Update Notes
CUSTOM KILLERS
New Schematics added!
The Raptor and Challenger are now available for customization! Head to your Workshop now and prepare for battle, Commander!
If you have your Command Center at Level 7, you will have access to 2 additional platforms.
Resource generators (oil, metal) maximum capacity has increased.
This may appear as though resources are taking longer than usual to fill, but that is due to increased capacity.
GENERAL FIXES
Blitz Turret will no longer target new Hellfire missiles, but will target the unit instead.
Thorium on the Scout Screen in WM Bosses will show the correct 200K (instead of mistakenly showing 400K).
AI CHANGES & FIXES
Units executing an Attack Move command will no longer occasionally forget what they are doing and stop moving after destroying a target.
Units that are idle or executing an Attack Move command issued by the player can now automatically target walls blocking their path when engaging a target. Previously, only RUBI could direct units to do so.
Fixed an issue where LoS checks would be generated from the wrong position in some cases.
Fixed an issue that could cause the server to crash when retargeting the Spectre.
The Spectre's targeting orbit has been increased to match its attack range, from its previous orbit range of (attackRange - 20).
Fixed multiple issues which could cause targeting/retargeting to fail when a unit was attacking a wall in the way of its true target.
Fixed an issue that would cause units that were idle or executing an Attack Move command to generate impossible paths when targeting a unit behind diagonally-connected walls.
Increased desire for units that are idle or executing Attack Move to destroy walls in their path instead of walking around them.
Improved path straightening quality.

New Feature! Thorium Reserves Target Range
Attention Commander,
We would like to inform you of an update to the current World Map.
NEW FEATURE
We have added an exciting feature called Thorium Reserves!
Thorium Reserves will clearly define which Player Bases contain the most Thorium/Infamy.
You will be able to glance at the World Map, and quickly see which bases contain the highest / lowest amounts of Thorium.
