Introduction

Showdown: Heroes Assemble III ( May 2020 ) is the 3rd PvE Defense Event to be presented in War Commander.
PvE Defense Events are Mini-Events .....

General Information

Showdown is a series of 3 Bases that the Player must survive against a Wave of Enemies. Each Base scales up in Difficulty and each Base contains 3 Waves of Enemies where the Player defend against. Success in Defending in each series of Waves will award the Player with Event Experience Points that can be used to purchase a variety of Prizes in the Event Shop such as :

• Heroes ( )
• Workshop Components for Heroes.
• Faction Training Tokens for a specific Heroes.

If the Player is successful at defeating all of the 3 Showdown Bases, the Player will be awarded a Massive eXP Payout as well as a eXP Combo Boost from an Arms Cache. A Bonus Showdown Base is unlocked upon the defeat of the 3 Showdown Bases.

Detailed Play Information

Defense Objective 

Defense of Rogue Attack - The Player is required to Defend against 3 Waves of Attacks from Rogue Forces in order to complete the a single Showdown Base. There are 4 Showdown Bases, which are : Heroic Showdown I Heroic Showdown II Heroic Showdown III Heroic Showdown IV ( Unlocked upon the completion of the previous 3 Heroic Showdown Bases ) Platoon Deployment - The Player is only allowed to deploy Platoons consisting of ONLY Heroes ( ) in Defending against the Rogue Attacks. Deployed Units CAN be Retreated. Rogue Units - Each Defensive Wave may consist of Units in any number and combination of Ground, Air Units or both. The higher the Wave the harder the difficulty. Victory Condition - The Player is considered victorious when all attacking Rogue Units have been eliminated  •  All Enemy Buildings has been destroyed. Repeatable Objective - The Player must repeat any wave in which the Player's Deployed Units is killed in order to move on to the next Wave. Surrender - The Player may surrender a Defense Wave at any time during the Rogue Attack by clicking the END ATTACK button. After which the Player may then Repair and Adjust the composition of the Platoon and restart that Wave from the beginning. Base Defender Platoon Damage - All units in the Base Defender Platoon are NOT returned to their original Health at the conclusion of each Wave. Multiple Direction Defense - For each wave the Rogue Faction will attack the Player's Platoon from one to all directions depending the Map. Each time a wave is repeated the Units may rotate their positions in the attack. XP Combo Boost - An XP Combo Boost is awarded upon the completion of the Showdown Bases.. XP Combo Boost Functionality

• XP Combo Boost are rewarded to the Player upon completing all of the Showdown Bases, which Temporarily Increase the Amount of eXP Earned in the next playthrough.
• A complete playthrough will award the Player a + 50% XP Combo Boost.
  • The XP Combo Boost CAN be stacked to a maximum of 5 Times ( Maximum of + 250% ).
• The Higher the Boost, the shorter the Duration of the Boost, which as follows :
