Introduction
Nightmare: Buried Alive is the 109th Special Event to be presented in War Commander.
In most cases Commanders are challenged to complete increasingly more difficult objectives against one or more Rogue Factions. With the successful completion of each objective in the allotted time the Player is awarded with special Event Experience Points (eXP) which they may in turn use to unlock Special Event Prizes in the Event Shop.
The Event Format for each Special Event may vary, see below for more information.

Additional Information
- Nightmare: Buried Alive utilizes the an modified version Challenge Track System.
- MAIN TRACK :
- 6 Total Main Track Missions ( 5Attack & 1 Defense ).
- Defense Missions are Optional and can be restarted if initially failed.
- 6 Total Main Track Missions ( 5Attack & 1 Defense ).
- CHALLENGE BASE TRACK :
- 4 Total Challenge Base Track Tiers.
- Reaching one of the 4 Tiers will grant an enormous eXP Payout.
- Serum Parts are awarded prior to reaching the 3rd and 4th Tier for the first complete playtrhough of the Track.
- The Player may Reset the Track after all Tiers has been reached.
- Reaching one of the 4 Tiers will grant an enormous eXP Payout.
- 4 Total Challenge Base Track Tiers.
- HEROIC SHOWDOWN TRACK :
- 3 Total Heroic Showdown Track Missions.
- Grants an eXP Payout as well as Arms Cache for Old Fire Tech.
- The Player may Reset the Track after all Missions has been completed.
- 3 Total Heroic Showdown Track Missions.
- ERRADICATION TRACK :
- MAIN TRACK :
- Maximum Event Experience Points ( eXP ) payouts per fully completed pass of ALL tack missions :
- 1,875,000 eXP - Complete pass of all Main Track ( Attack & Defense ), Challenge Base Track, Heroic Showdown Track and Erradication Track ( After reaching the 10th Checkpoint )
- 100,000 eXP - Completion of the Main Track.
- 2,500 eXP - Optional Defense Mission.
- 1,000,000 eXP - Completion of the Challenge Track after reaching each Tier.
- 375,000 eXP - Completion of the Heroic Showdown Track.
- 400,000 eXP - Completion of the Erradication Track after reaching the final Checkpoint.
- 100,000 eXP - Completion of the Main Track.
- 1,875,000 eXP - Complete pass of all Main Track ( Attack & Defense ), Challenge Base Track, Heroic Showdown Track and Erradication Track ( After reaching the 10th Checkpoint )
- Level 1000 Sector Base :
- Awards one from each of the following :
- 2, 3, 5, 7 or 20 Omega Ares Scrap Parts.
- If a base is completed by a player with Template:TxAqua already the are awarded 5,000,000 Thorium instead of parts.
- 2, 3, 5, 7 or 20 Omega Ares Scrap Parts.
- Awards one from each of the following :
- Platoon Infamy exchange will be disabled for the duration of the event.
Narrative Highlights
- An expedition into the labyrinthian tunnels under the Sector is launched to uncover the cause of recent seismic activity. What they find instead, is something from their nightmares. Some things that are buried are meant to stay that way..
Trivia
- Nightmare: Buried Alive uses an modified version of the Challenge Track System with differences such as :
- Prestige eXP is not utilized in this Event, same as the Prestige Store.
- Features the Heroic Shodown and the Erradication mechanic as 2 additional Tracks.
